Refund Policy

This English text is a translation provided for convenience. The legally binding document is the Russian version; if the two differ, the Russian version prevails.
How charging works
Services are paid for in advance, by arrangement with the provider; after payment is received, the provider credits the amount to the balance of the account. The balance is kept in US dollars. The price is $0.10 (US dollars) per minute of the source track, billed per second, unless a different price has been agreed individually.
When a job starts, the cost of processing a track of the maximum length (10 minutes) is reserved. When the job ends, the reserve is released: if the job succeeded, the actual cost is charged; if it failed, nothing is charged. Reserves and releases are visible in the balance history in your dashboard.
Refund of unused balance
You may withdraw from the contract at any time and demand a refund of the prepayment not spent on services already provided (Article 32 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Protection of Consumer Rights", Article 782(1) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). The unused balance is refunded in full; the cost of services already provided is not refunded, except in the cases described in "Completed jobs".
You can have all of the balance refunded or part of it. A refund of the whole balance does not oblige you to close your account.
Failed jobs
A job that fails is not charged. The amount reserved for it returns to your balance automatically; you do not need to contact us.
Completed jobs
The service is considered provided when the job has completed successfully and the result has become available for download. The cost of a properly provided service is not refunded.
If the service was provided with a defect the provider is responsible for — for example, a charge was made but the result was not delivered, or the result file is technically corrupted — you may, at your choice, demand that the job be redone free of charge, that the price be reduced proportionately, or that the amount paid for the job be refunded, and use the other rights given by Article 29 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights". A consumer's demand for a price reduction or a refund of the amount paid is satisfied within ten days of being made (Article 31 of that law).
The result is produced automatically and depends on the material you upload. The result is available for 5 minutes after the job is completed, as you are told in advance; the fact that the result was not downloaded in that time is not in itself a defect in the service. Because audio is not retained, when considering a claim we rely on the technical record of the job and on the material you provide.
How to ask for a refund
Write to us by email at s1ckasfukml@gmail.com or on Telegram at @conv_support. Tell us:
- the nickname of your account;
- the amount to be refunded;
- for a claim about a particular job — its ID from the dashboard and a description of the problem.
An account is not linked to a person, so we need to make sure its owner is the one asking. You can confirm this in one of two ways: log in to the account and complete the check we suggest in our reply, or give the recovery code shown at registration.
If you have neither access to the account nor the recovery code, the account cannot be restored. We will consider a claim for a refund of unspent prepayment if you confirm, with payment documents and your correspondence with us, that you made the payment for that account; in that case the refund is made only to the person who paid.
Time and method of refund
Unused balance is refunded within ten days of our receiving your request. The money is returned by the same method the payment was made with, or by another method agreed with you. Refunds to residents of the Russian Federation are made in the currency of the Russian Federation as described in the "Price and payment" section of the Terms of Service. The details you provide for a refund are used only to make it.
A refund document is issued in the cases and in the manner required by Russian law.
If we do not agree
If you disagree with our answer, you may go to court, and a consumer may also apply to the consumer protection authority. How disputes are resolved is described in the Terms of Service.
